I am relaying this experience to you so that you can understand the importance of not only having Insurance, but having the RIGHT Insurance… Ever heard the terms, ‘Worth more dead than alive’, or ‘Better off dead’? Critical Illness Insurance is the payment of funds directly to the policyholder, in the event he or she is diagnosed of a condition covered under the policy, (Heart Attack, Cancer and Coma E.C.T.). Unlike regular life insurance, these plans pay out when you live. They are also called, ‘Living benefits plans’. Critical illness plans therefore, upon one of these unfortunate events occurring, helps one come to terms with a complete change in lifestyle, helping to finance expenses arising from having to live with a serious illness or disability. Why buy Critical illness Insurance?

How Life Insurance companies market their products: When I was in my teens in Toronto one summer I took up a part time job selling encyclopedias and vacuum cleaners on commission. I remember the seminars showing how much money could be made. They even had guest speakers who apparently had bought large homes & high end cars by selling these products. Truth is very few made barely a living, most dropped out after a few weeks. The Company would train as much people as possible and send them out hoping for sales. The thinking is, the more people out there the more sales for the company. The thinking behind marketing insurance is similar. People with very little or no qualifications is given some simple courses to take and upon passing the examinations are put on a sales team, called ‘ADVISORS” and become licensed to sell insurance. Then without very little guidance are then ‘thrown to the wolves’, hoping to bring in ‘prospects’, going after mostly friends and family, trying to convert them to business. The truth is most drops out within a year. My research showed that internationally barely 4 salesmen in 100 make it past 4 years in the business.

The truth about International Major Medical Health Plans |
|

In 1996 while sitting at my desk at work I experienced a pain in my chest and slight numbness in my left hand. After visiting my Doctor, he suggested I visit a specialist in Florida. This specialist in Florida saw me a few days later and suggested I do what is called a Cardiac Catherization. This was to be done by a recommended Doctor at a Miami Hospital. It was an outpatient procedure. I would come in the morning, have the procedure done and be out by the evening.
